Top Task Analysis, created by Paul Boag (founder of Boagworks), is a specialized user experience (UX) tool designed to help product teams and web designers understand core user priorities. While traditional surveys often leave you with a long list of what users want, a top task analysis forces users to rank their preferences, ensuring that the few critical tasks that genuinely matter rise above the noise.
Built to streamline user research, the tool is completely free and can be up and running in a matter of minutes. By focusing app and website development around these proven user priorities, teams can cut through guesswork and build digital experiences optimized for what matters most.
