Restaurant Finder, developed by makers including Julien Rosilio under Oriane, is an innovative tool designed to bridge the gap between social media food content and real-world dining. Operating at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Maps, and Social Media, the platform helps users discover the best dining spots highlighted by content creators across Instagram and TikTok.

Instead of sorting through endless short-form videos to find a specific recommendation, users can simply select a desired food type and a city. Restaurant Finder then aggregates the results, ranking them according to real creator buzz. Crucially, the platform provides the original social media videos as direct proof, ensuring you can trust the hype before you visit.

Pros of Restaurant Finder

Discovers restaurant recommendations sourced directly from Instagram and TikTok creators
Ranks dining options based on real creator buzz and social media popularity
Provides original social media videos as direct proof for transparency
Simple and intuitive interface requiring just a food choice and a city

Cons of Restaurant Finder

Currently relies heavily on social media creator coverage for its database
Limited to cities and food types actively covered by Instagram and TikTok creators
Vetted strictly through social media trends rather than traditional culinary reviews
