About Reckon
Reckon is a specialized decision journal designed for iPhone and iPad users to help calibrate their judgment over time. Created by full-stack developer Roland Leth, the tool captures the critical elements of decision-making that hindsight typically erases—including your initial predictions, confidence levels, and core reasoning.
Unlike standard note-taking apps, Reckon allows you to track the evolution of a decision before the final outcome occurs. Through periodic check-ins, users can tag new information as positive or negative and update their confidence levels accordingly. Once a decision is resolved, you log what happened, and weeks later, the app prompts you to reflect on whether you would still make the same call. Over the span of a year, Reckon reveals patterns in your decision-making, highlighting where your confidence tends to overshoot, undershoot, or remain sharpest.
Built with privacy and simplicity in mind, Reckon features seamless iCloud synchronization without requiring an external user account. It is available as a straightforward one-time purchase.
Pros of Reckon

- Allows ongoing check-ins to track new information and adjust confidence before outcomes happen
- Promotes long-term self-reflection by analyzing where judgment is sharpest or over/undershot
- Privacy-focused with iCloud sync and no account requirement
