About Hoodik Cloud

Hoodik Cloud runs the Hoodik server as your own instance, with its own database and storage bucket. Files, file names, notes and search queries are encrypted on your device, so the server only stores ciphertext. Pick an EU or US region at signup, bring your own domain if you want. Free apps for iOS, Android and macOS. 100 GB for 9 EUR a month, 500 GB for 19 EUR. Free for 14 days, and the export gives you a runnable self-hosted copy. Server code on GitHub, source available under CC BY-NC 4.0.

About NearBye

NearBye watches how near your iPhone is and locks your Mac when you leave the room. It uses Bluetooth signal strength, so any device with BLE support works. Apple Watch or Touch ID unlocks it when you're back. Menu bar app, no account, no internet required, no subscription — $4.99 once on the Mac App Store.
