About Prosed
Prosed is an innovative AI-powered book service designed specifically for creators looking to turn their existing content—such as newsletters, podcasts, and posts—into a cohesive manuscript. Unlike traditional AI writing tools that operate as a 'black box' by taking your content in and spitting out a manuscript with minimal transparency, Prosed introduces a revolutionary Source Map feature.
The Source Map color-codes every single paragraph in your generated manuscript, clearly distinguishing your original words from the connective tissue added by the AI to bridge your ideas together. By ensuring that over 90% of each assembled book consists of the creator's actual words, Prosed maintains your authentic voice while streamlining the challenging task of long-form book creation.
Pros of Prosed
- Color-coded Source Map shows transparency by separating your original words from AI additions
- Over 90% of the assembled book is made up of the creator's own words
- Transforms existing content like newsletters, podcasts, and posts into a manuscript
- Eliminates the 'black box' uncertainty common in other AI book services
Cons of Prosed
- Relies entirely on previously created source material (newsletters, podcasts, posts)
- Limited to book creation and content compilation workflows
- AI still contributes connective tissue which may require manual review
